For many children around the world, access to education is not a given.
Following the recent Cyclone Ditwa, which devastated Sri Lanka in November, thousands of children lost all their schoolbooks and learning resources as homes were flooded and belongings were destroyed.
Being able to give a child a bag of essential school resources can be truly life-changing for a child who has lost everything.
Ocean Stars, in partnership with Dream Space Academy, distributed 427 school resource packs to students at a primary school in Polonnaruwa, helping them return to learning with dignity and hope.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our donors, we are able to bring hope and joy in times of despair and darkness.
