Ocean Stars prides itself on being transparent in our work, and our volunteers and visitors bring untold joy to the communities we support in Sri Lanka.
Recently, we welcomed two visitors from the UK who spent time at one of our preschools. They enjoyed a wonderful morning singing, reading stories, blowing bubbles, and spending time with our students, creating moments of laughter and connection.
Our visitors also spent time at one of our women's empowerment projects, where the ladies attending our sewing classes were delighted to share what they have learned and proudly show the items they have made.
The afternoon was spent with the children our visitors have sponsored over the years. Meeting sponsor children in person, visiting their homes, and spending meaningful time together created a deeper understanding, lasting connections, and lifelong global friendships.
Moments like these truly reflect the heart of Ocean Stars.
